In this hour-long class, you'll learn everything you need to know about acquiring a sewing machine. We'll explore various methods to obtain one, help you assess your specific needs, and guide you through the process of testing out different machines to find the perfect fit for you.

This 2-hour class is perfect for those who are completely new to machine sewing. It aims to eliminate any apprehension you might have about sewing. You will become familiar with the different parts of the sewing machine, learn its basic functions, understand sewing machine safety, and learn how to properly care for your machine.
You will leave the class with knowledge, confidence and stitch samples. Fabric for making samples will be provided.

Students must provide a working sewing machine, thread, and machine manual.
Class length: 2 hours
Learn how to mend and enhance your woven clothing with hand stitches and fabric scraps. In this hands-on class, you will learn creative techniques to repair holes and rips in woven clothing. Fabric, thread and needles will be provided to create samples. You may bring one item to mend, if you wish.
Class Fee: $100 for up to 8 people
Students must provide scissors and thimble (optional)
Class length: 2 hours
Join our beginner-friendly class to learn the basics of loom knitting on a round peg loom. You'll master essential techniques and terminology, including casting on, knitting, and finishing a project. By the end of the class, you'll have created your very own loom-knitted sample hat to take home. Yarn will be provided for small sample hat.
Class Fee: $100 for up to 8 people
Students must provide a 5" to 5.5" round loom - 24 peg loom, Loom Knit Hook, and scissors
Class length: 2 hours
I will come to your location to teach any of these classes on the day of your choosing. I like to keep classes small so everyone gets individual attention. There will be an extra travel fee if more than 15 driving miles from McDonough, GA.
